Fabarm Black Friday Sale??

Is that one a Semi your looking at or pump?? STF12 and is it on sale??

11" Pump, NR w/fixed stock. TSE had them and they sold out fast, waiting for another shipment to come in. There is a STF12 thread in this section somewhere. Pretty expensive at $1200 or so, but they are supposed to be awesome. Hope the Pro Forces 14" meets my high expectations.

For $699 I could not say no :) how do I go about mounting a light to this beast?? Also what cleaning supplies do I need. Have plenty of AR's and Handgubs never cleaned a shotgun.

Thanks T

I guess the next ?? What type of 12g ammo should I get for the range?? I figured I would buy in bulk as I have a feeling I will be shooting this a lot....

Thanks T

Light mounting? Not a clue on this shotgun as I'll be seeing it for the first time when I receive it. As for cleaning, a lot of people buy a bore snake similar to this:

I shoot my shotguns inside at a range and on the farm, using everything from bird shot to 00 Buck to slugs. You are only limited to your imagination. Every shooter needs a shotgun and from what I'm reading, the one we bought is a fantastic one. I'll still buy the STF12 if it comes in stock, that one is a ###y beast.

Anyone looking for a ###y Fabarm, a member has a nickel 14" on the EE.

Thanks for the replies. So if I use slugs it is no issue with this SG? I ask because it seems there are multi-barrel SG what are those for?

Thanks T

There will always be room for a 14" 590A1 in my safe.

Hi Everyone,

Well ended up getting the Fabarm pro forces in the mail today. I noticed that the forearm has some play up and down left and right not a lot but noticeable. Just wondering if this is normal??

Also is there any video's out there that are good about cleaning this bad boy!

Thanks T

My forend has no excess play, nice and firm. A pump shotgun's forend will need a tiny bit of play for reliability. It's not like a pistol's tight and solid slide to frame fit. Here's the only video I could find on disassembly (it's not that good).

Here is s video of the wobble is this normal??

Mine is similar to yours, however; yours has a bit more play than mine. Pull the barrel off and look at the fore stock itself. there will be a series of rings, and you will see the metal action bars. If all these pieces are in place, then nothing is broken.
Maybe yours has a slightly smaller mag tube diameter? or a slightly larger fore stock?
as long as everything is functional, there is nothing wrong with a little play in it. Most shotguns have play in the fore stock. its not going to make the gun non-functional.

^^^ I couldn't disagree more.
The op paid hard earned dollars for a quality high end product.
You shouldn't have to settle for sub par quality. Take or send it back an get a replacement.
That's not right at all somthing is wrong

The Fabarm tactical stuff is very similar to Hatsan, especially the forend assembly and the barrel insert into the receiver are near identical.

What causes the forend looseness on these is there is a metal pin that runs through and attaches the forend to the forend tube. Sometimes the hole in the plastic gets widened causing excessive movement in that retaining pin area.

Where Fabarm excels in quality is the build of the receiver, barrel/sights and trigger.
Unfortunately, the stock and forend are susceptible to all the same issues as any other manufacturer.

Mine is awesome. The fiber optic sights are fantastic, recoil is light, everything is tip top on this unit. The one with the excessive play should be returned for exchange, in my opinion - definitely an issue there. Mine is tight and true.
