Fabarm heatshield question

For those who have owned or handled them, is the heatshield on a Fabarm supposed to jiggle around or should it be stuck in one spot. Mine wants to spin a bit.
 
You can wiggle it a tiny bit, but it should not jiggle on it's own.

Did you lose the little rubber washer that sits inside the end cap?
 
Thanks Panman. The gasket and ring are fine. One thing I did notice on the picture on Wantsall's website is that the heatshield that is in thier pic fits tightly around the front sight. The heat shield that they sent me has a large rectangular cutout that gives the heatshield about a third of an inch rotation side to side which is enough for it to get caught under the pump on either the left or right side depending on which way it feels like roatating -- annoying. I think I will see if I can get them to replace the one they sent me with the one advertised on thier website.
 
That rectangular cut out would be for putting a ghostring set-up on the front site, the use a larger sight base which is rectangular in shape.
 
Yes if you have a martial composite with a small blade sight, there is a different heat shield with a small slot for the front sight.
 
Thanks Redleg. I suspect you will be hearing from Wanstalls as I am sending the heatshield back to them and they got it from you. :) If you have the proper one could you put it aside for me?
