Just wanted to get opinions on the Fabarm Pro Forces 12 gauge from any possible owners. I was looking at a Benelli M4 but the Fabarm looks nice for $1000 less. Just wondering what additional quality or features there may be on the Benelli vs the Fabarm for that money.

The m4 is a semi auto the Pro force is a pump.

The fabarm SAT is a semi auto though.

Best regards,

I had a Fabarm Martial Pro Forces for about a year. I bought it used (like new) and fired about 1000 rounds through it.

It was a very nice shotgun, but the plating on the bolt started to flake off at around 700 rounds or so. That's the only negative I can remember.

The Benelli M4 is a very nice shotgun and I used to have one a long time ago. I remember that it took a bit of time to break it in in order for the gun to cycle the cheap light loads. I sold it to buy something else.

I recently bought another.

I can't comment on the M4 as I don't own one but I'm sure it is a fantastic firearm. I do own the Sat 8 so I'm more equipped to comment on it. Fit and finish is as good as it gets. The gun took about 200 rounds to break in but now it eats anything, even the cheapest target loads. The only issue I have with it is the bottom rail, it has really sharp edges so you better cover it with panels, or better yet remove it all together or...bring band aids :)
One more thing that may be a factor, there are virtually no accessories for the Sat8

If your going to go the Benelli route I'd give prophet river a call, helped me out on a M2.
Special ordered one and it was in my hands a week later at the best price I could find anywhere.

Well my brother went down this road, hearing about fabarm from another guy at the gun store, and he went with the benelli M4 instead. And he's loving it, and hey its punish tested and proven with the US marines. Whose heard of fabarm? And thats why you should get an M4 IMHO

There are plenty of good reasons to get a Benelli... The fact that you've never heard of Fabarm isn't one of them.
