Fabarm rail... covered.

I railed the forend of my fabarm a while back. definitely adds some bite to the forend if you aren't careful; so I covered it. Feels good and looks bad ass. I had a little left over, that conveniently fit the top rail. An added bonus, the rails no longer snag the lining of my soft case.

Just a dumb question here but why would you put a rail on the forend and then cover the rail? seems like a step back, can you enlighten me

I needed something to attach my rail covers to.



The rail is for a light, not needed to be attached 24/7. The rail cover will protect things (like your hand!) from the rail. Cover comes off, light goes on, and vice versa.

Just a dumb question here but why would you put a rail on the forend and then cover the rail? seems like a step back, can you enlighten me
