I get to pick up my new fabarm shotgun tomorrow I bought a martial composite with the 14" barrel. now I'm looking for sling options. I was thinking of getting the s&J hardware mount that sits between the action and the butt stock and then running a single point sling but from what Ive seen most slings attach via a stud or some sort. what are you running on yours? or what should i look into, I'm lost. also how do i go about getting the butt stock off to install the sling mount if i go that way? I'm trying to find a setup that will keep it tight and up high on my body.

what would work best for you is the sling plate we make aa well as the Blue force gear Anaconda sling.
The anaconda is the best single point sling made if you want to keep the gun up high and not dangle.
contact one shot tactical for both.
If he is out of stock on the mount the SFRC will have them in stock.

So does the anaconda sling come with the loop that will fit through the s&j plate or is that the extra $10? If its the extra which one would work best the long or short loop? Thanks for the help. Just want to make sure I get it all in one order

So I finaly got my shot gun and picked up a sling mount plate at the shooting edge while there. So how do I mount the plate? I took off the recoil pad and inside the stock is a round nut with a large slot cut in it. Is that what I take off to get the buttstock off?. Any tips on what to use to get that nut off. Thanks for all the help. I ordered an anaconda sling earlier today, excited to get it.

Yes, this nut holds the stock in place. I remove mine with regular socket nut driver.

I have a SAT 8 proforces and I didn't install any additional sling hardware on it. The shotgun has one sling swivel in the forearm - right under the mag cap, and one on the pistol grip (two narrow sling slots). Yours should be the same except since you don't have a pistol grip (composite stock), your sling slots should reside inside the stock grip. I used a standard two point leather sling that slides through the slots on the rifle without any additional hardware installed. Once the sling strap is through the swivel, I have two screws on the sling itself to hold the loop strap together. Fits tight and doesn't wobble in the sling swivel. I like it. But I guess, it's all personal preference.

ps one point slings are EVIL! :stirthepot2:
