Trying to get my Fabarms to look less Tactical for backpacking. There was a post I haven't been able to locate detailing the parts needed to switch the ProForces large forend for a more traditional pump Forend. Any thoughts, pictures....

what you just posted make no sence.
You want to take the big long fat forend off and replace is with the smaller police foreend to make it look less tactical????
bbb

how about why. you don't want to look "tactical" by a cooey single shot with a 3 foot long barrel. No one will mistake you for a storm trooper.

Yeah - police forend looks less tacticool - more like a normal pump. I guess it's more my personal sense of asthetics. I'll take another stab at the search function...

why does it matter what it looks like? Its non- restricted. Are you scared of a legal encounter with the police?

It is partly for my own sense of asthetics - I prefer the more traditional forend. I haven't had any legal difficulties or conflicts where I take the gun. I remembered a post where it had been done before and thought I'd ask the question.

My forend scrapes the reciever and I've never been sold on it's appearance but did like the specifications of the firearm. It won't be the first thing I've modified to suit my tastes.

If you are looking to swap the forend, give James at The Shooting Edge a call tomorrow. If there's one available anywhere in Canada it will most likely be at TSE. And if not, then James should be able to order one for you with his next Fabarm shipment.

If my memory is correct, the new forend comes with everything for a quick switch. It even comes with action bars attached. James will be able to tell you for sure.

No, the kit includes everything you need to make the short forend, but uses the original action bars. Kit is $99, extra action bars $65
