Fabram Quality ?

Ok It's lighter weight then the Mossberg but way smoother. Worth the money...

Stock choice is really all you have to pick I have 1 with a straight stock it's nice I have 1 with the fixed pistol grip stock it's nice as well only stock I didn't like the feel was the one that you can slide in and out other then that I like it allot.

Taking it apart can be interesting it's not the same as every other shotgun the bolt comes out with the pump grip as it sits on top interesting design.

I love mine, and it was hacked up pretty good by a "gunsmith" before I bought it:

How about reliability when used and possibly abused in a wilderness setting....rain, snow, dust, mud etc...... ?

I had a police demo gun that had at least 10,000 rds fired through it, and it also was used by different skill set users and all failures to function were operator induced, no issue exposed to the elements at all...

I don't abuse firearms on purpose but the design is solid and I don't see it having any problems that another pump shotgun wouldn't have.

The parts are well made anything can break but it's a simple effective design. It should go bang each time I take a cheap shotgun as a beater gun it holds up just fine as well and it's a piece of junk compared to the Fabarm. What your paying for is fit and finish ie it took longer to make because it goes through more steps.

The only time I had a problem was with a norinco and Remington 870 shotguns didn't like the Winchester (steel hulls) target loads worked fine with brass. The Fabarm ate them up and spat them out same with the Mossberg shotguns and that's the only ammo that was hard to get out but you just bang the stock on a rock while holding the pump and it will cycle if it locks up. It's tough enough for what it is. I tried every single load I could find at gun stores and local stores 1 box of each to see how it works in the shotgun they all went bang the norinco and 870 only had a problem with the Winchester target loads everything else went bang just fine.

I've only handled them but it shoulders really nice, good balanced light weight, really nice finish, smooth action and well built it seems..I will be buying a few different models including one of their O/U ...really nice shotguns.

How is the quality of the Fabram Martial Ultrashort ? Comparable to a Mossberg 500 ? anything close to a 590A1 ?
I like the 14" factory barrel but need some opinions before buying one.

you are asking a very funny question. You are asking if a ferrarri is as good as a Honda civic.

Fabarm is high quality firearm, where the Mossberg is more of a middle of the line "get people into the market" type gun.

Myself had a chance to try both Fabarm and Wilson, id'e pick the Wilson ( will probably get one pretty soon), my choice, smoother... Benelli M4 cant be touch being a marvel of reliability ( semi with a pump reliability) but that is in my book... JP.

Great fit and finish as well as quality.
Only inconvenience is the lack of parts and accessories availability compared to the Remington or moss erg

Funny........the civic will get you back and forth to work everyday for years without a hiccup......the ferrari on the other hand isn't a reliable daily driver.

I'm happy with my Mossberg 535 and I want a 590A1 for another role partly because it's better built (more robust) than ordinary 500s and other derivatives. I have had a Fabarm Martial and it is much better, just a pleasure to own for its quality. (I sold it because the fourteen inch barrel was too short for my tastes and I got it practically new for such a low price I could make a bit of money giving someone else a really good deal on it.)

If you like the configuration of the one you are looking at, buy it. If the quality doesn't please you I haven't heard of something that will.
