Funny........the civic will get you back and forth to work everyday for years without a hiccup......the ferrari on the other hand isn't a reliable daily driver.

Then it wasn't such an appropriate comparison. Maybe Toyota/Lexus is a better one. Although Mossberg, while being a sound piece of equipment, is probably not Toyota quality.

I had a 14" a few years ago. Nice fit and finish and never a problem.
I bought another I would swap out the loaf of bread fore-stock. Not only does it scratch up the receiver racking it but it I found it too bulky.
I replaced it with a 14" 590 (a middle of the line "get people into the market" type gun...). All my SG's are sold now except for a 20" 590A1. Yes there are more expensive(and maybe better) SG's but I haven't had the need to look...YMMV
