X2 on the TP9!!
I've had no experience with the BRS 99 but the TP9 is the T!ts. I just took mine out for it's inaugural run. Over 400 rounds with no problems.
The manual of arms is pretty solid with bolt release, mag release, and safety all able to operate with the shooting hand. The charging handle is ambi and very AR-esk in operation. Despite the externals being primarily made of polymer, it had a very solid feel. The stock locks up tight with no noticeable wobble. The trigger is fairly heavy, but similar to the Glock, with a bladed safety on the trigger, except it pulls straight back instead of pivoting. If it were lighter, the trigger design would have a lot of accuracy potential. Despite the trigger, the TP9 is quite accurate with near rapid fire fist size groups fairly easy at 25 yards. Mine seems to like 115g, though it shot everything I fed it with no issues at all. I did try it briefly at the 100 yard gong at our range and was able to hit it with some degree of regularity, but will need to spend more time practicing at that range to get the hold over just right. Optic used was an Aimpoint micro which is probably a near perfect combination for the TP9.
The one issue that was bothersome is the the mags were pinned a little too tight and I'm not able to insert a full 5 round mag into the gun and then use the charging handle. I either have to load four rounds or lock the bolt open before I insert a mag. If the pin were slightly lower this would probably alleviate the problem. A lot of guys have this issue with AR mags as well. This is more an issue with out useless laws, than with the way the gun was designed. EDIT: The mags seem very robust as well. Despite the bodies and lips being made entirely of some sort of clear plastic, I noticed no noticeable wear to the feed lips. I've also never read of any negative reports about TP9 mags. I purchased my mags from Wolverine and am waiting for Blue Line to receive stock, as they have the best price I have found on them.
I also scored a replacement top cover for DIRT CHEAP

that I plan on modding with a side rail to mount a weapon light...I'll start a new thread when I do.
All, in All I think the TP9 is a fantastic firearm, and a near perfect bug-out weapon, (for those that consider that type of thing

) due to it's easy to conceal size and easy to find 9mm chambering. It's also much cheaper to shoot than 5.56!!
