I have been shooting 147gr Winchester, which has a PF roughly of 144.
Does anyone have an idea of the Pf of Winchester 124gr?

I think the SAAMI spec puts regular factory 124's in the 1100 fps range...giving a power factor of about 136. Best way to find out is to get some and run them over a chrono....

no chrony. I am supposed to shoot some reloaded ammo this weekend in 124gr. that might give me a better idea. Trying to find out if it would be advisable to go to a 124gr factory, over 147gr factory. I would use factory for practice, and possibly wolf or Combat masters reloaded ammunition for IPSC.

Look on the Winchester website. They have all velocity etc data availible for all of their commercial ammunition online.

The results for pistol barrel profile and use also can determine factors.
when the 147 was cronied before, it was 141- 147 pf, averaged out to 144pf. The winchester winclean of the same grain was very consistant at 144pf.

Exactly, every barrel is different. If you want actual PF's you will have to chrono yourself. If you are just wondering whether it makes PF and by how much, you can look at the stats on the Winchester website and be pretty confident that the USP will not be more than 40fps more or less than that published.
