I have just bought a Husqvarna 9.3x62mm based on a 98 action. It was re-chambered from a 9.3 x 57 which I understand is quite common.
I have read that some factory ammo does not feed well in the 98's, and that they were made for spire point bullets. Hornady makes an available 286 grain factory spire point round, but I would like to know the experiences of others who have owned / own a '98 9.3x62mm. This will be a moose hunting gun, so I want to use a good large game hunting round.
Any other comments on the 9.3x62mm based on your personal experiences would also be greatly appreciated!
