Factory camo finish removal

Hi all,

I have a Remington Model Seven Predator with factory camo finish. It appears to be have a bead blasted and blued finish, like the SPS 700 rifles, under the camo. Anybody know of a way to remove the fugly camo, without going all the way to bare metal?

Talk about reviving an old thread, but.....

Did you ever end up taking the camo off your Model 7?

How does it shoot? I have a line on one and am almost ready to pull the trigger on it.
