These dies can be very useful when you have reached your magazines length capacity, and the bullet is still far from the throat. They can really help accuracy in this case.
oh, the 35's are great, no doubt. I primarily use them, at ~3100fps. But they drop velocity rapidly, and going to a 40 should get just a bit more range outta the Hornet
FYI if you have odd or rare calibers, Lee Precision will custom make Factory Crimp Dies for any caliber. Just seat a bullet in an empty case... obviously that means no primer or powder... to the exact C.O.L. and ship it to them.
It doesn't cost a lot and the Lee factory crimp dies are absolutely the best.
I use 'em for .45-70 and I just sent off a dummy .458 Lott to Lee Precision to get a factory crimp die made up.
