I have an opportunity to purchase a decent supply of brand new in bulk box of factory fresh Glock 17 magazines. They are all Gen3 style double stack body with the staggered holes on both sides of the back of mag body. All mags are factory rivited to conform to the Canadian gun laws of 10 rnds.
These magazines look different from the factory Glock magazines I got with my 17 and 22. The ones I have only have one set of holes going down the back of magazine body and have the extra cutout for the Gen4 right / left mag release. Other than that they are identical.
Are the double stacked magazines that are rivited more collectable or desirable? The guy wants $40 each. Is that a good price in the times we are living in. Glocks are contagious and having lots of spare magazines seems to be a good thing I would think.

If these are 17 rounders pinned to 10, then they should be a little easier to load than the 10 rounders.

This is the main advantage. $40 is fair because they are a bit harder to find now. They are not really a collectible item. Gen 3's are fine unless you have a Gen 4 Glock and are a lefty. M&P 10/17's, now that's a different story.
