Factory Loaded 130gr Hornady IntLoc

Anyone using these Hornady Whitetail cartridges through their Rifles?

i was going to go for PPU ammo but i got a discount for the Whitetail line an went for 130 grain in the .270win Mossy Patriot...

Assuming they are no different to the standard Cup an Cores we've all used before, Ive found them to be alright once the Velocity dips a little bit from the muzzle... somewhat rapid expanding up in close stuff especially if bone hit-

considering im targetting Tahr for starters and the odd Chamois, i feel it should be a good bullet choice for them-

your opinions on the bullet an how it performed in the factory offering?

Although not factory ammo, I’ve been using 130 gr interlocks in my .270 for a few years and really like them. Even on close shots they’ve held together pretty well and dropped deer in their tracks. They also seem to be inherently accurate.

Haven't played with the factory load but have loaded some myself and friends shoot a lot of them for deer and black bears. The bullet should be up to the task if placed well.

I used tons of the 130 Interlocks in various .270 Wins; though not as factory ammo. Can't remember ever needing more bullet.

I know the component interlocks don't seem to be what they used to. Definitely not as tough as they once were.

nothings 'made to last' these days and nothings 'built like they used to be'
