It appears to be a way of solving the ejection issues of a bullpup. I'm guessing the whole action is slanted which creates a more downward direction of ejection, rather then tradition straight out the side. This is so it can be fired both left and right handed.
Same idea as canting a Tavor to the side when firing it left handed. This is just my educated guess.
Might also be to assist with reloads when prone? Which is sort of mentally handicapped since you can't use it as effectively as a monopod. Seems like a really crappy idea to me. But then again this entire rifle has amateur hour written all over it.
