Well i have a quick question for all of you guys. I just brought my remington 878 Automaster to the range and the shells didn't eject after being fired. Could this be because the load isn't strong enough to eject them or because i was using winchester target loads (the cheap ones from CT)?

Its probably a bit of both. Alot of the older field guns need a shell with a good bit of "op" behind them to get the action to cycle. Now add to that that since it's older there maybe years of crud built up in some spots that didn't get cleaned and it makes it worse. Also some of the cheaper shells with the zinc (silver) bases will expand makeing it more difficult for them to eject.
