I know that spring is a bad time to sell most firearms and that values seem to be regional, but I have a shot at a VERY nice piece of Canadian militaria. I've been offered first dibs on a 1950 Long Branch Lee Enfield which was purchased in the cosmoline by the seller's husband many years ago, so I know it's not been molested from factory original. I know that it has a low round count as well (maybe 2-3 hundred rounds AT MOST) and it's been well cleaned and maintained. It also comes with a sling, a spare mag, a spike bayonet and a rare No. 7 bayonet in very good shape. I'm not looking for a bargain basement deal, but a fair market value as the widow needs the money and I'm not about to lowball a friend. I thought $1200. to $1300. would be fair in this current market given the scarcity of quality Long Branch No.4's plus all the accessories. Your input would be most appreciated guys. Thanks in advance

I think your offer is more than fair for a post-war Longbranch.

To be honest, that might even be more than market value but I guess the prices are changing and maybe I'm a bit out of touch on these rifles.

I bought a nice original 1950 Longbranch locally last week for $550 but it had seen some limited use.

-Steve
