Fair price for norinco 1887?

My buddy has a good shape norinco 1887 lever 12 guage he'd like to sell.

He's wondering how much you post it for ?

I understand these aren't being made anymore.

They're not being made anymore but they're not rare by any means either, you see them come up pretty often. Most of the ones that I've seen have been going for around $400, how much they were new, if they're in good shape.

They are interesting shotguns . I bought two used ones from a dealer . One with a heat shield , and one without . They were 300 and 250 respectively a couple of years ago . There are some around , but I haven't seen too many coming up for sale .

The Winchester Model 97 is an interesting shotgun. The Norincos are just cheap Chinese copies. No more than 300.00.

Naw, the barrel isn't heavy enough for a wrench extension and the varnish gives off toxic fumes when burned.

Not sure on value but I know a few guys that shoot them lots and are happy.

Love mine, terrible for cowboy action for me. But looks cool with the brown bess bayonet. Still a $300 dollar gun in my mind.
