Yes and no. If a lefty is looking for one the value goes up. Normally when I sell lefty guns I toss them out for the lefty market first and rarely have to drop the price which is always more than it would be for the same gun in right hand. I shoot left also
Being a 3" mag a few bucks extra to open that choke for steel and some lefty just bought a hell of a waterfowl gun
 
Buying or selling?
"...limits it potential market..." It'd be snapped up faster than spit. LH firearms aren't exactly easy for those of us who shoot to right way around to come by.
