Hey folks,

Can anyone tell me the value (approximately) of a very lightly used (looks new in almost every way) Bushnell Elite Tactical 6-24X50 with standard Mil-dot reticle. I'm thinking of selling mine and just want to ask a fair price...

Thanks for your time,

J

lol, if you want a really fast sale, then yes. If you look at what people are selling stuff for, it's more like 80% or more compared to retail. It all is up to the seller. I'm selling my 275 drum mag $25 less than for what I paid for it. It's the first one in Canada. I see all the time people selling there guns for full price which isn't my style, it's USED!!!!!!!!! I'm not paying full price for a gun. However accessories are a different matter. Sights and other equipment I believe hold there value. Thus 75% is really fair I think. I have 5 scopes listed on EE and two might be sold tomorrow.

Maybe it's not the best to take advice from guys with a "0" trader rating.
What I do is search on this site first, that usually doesn't work well though unless it's a current ad, since ads get removed or prices deleted and marked "spf". Those who "btt" their ads a few dozen times are generally asking way too much, ignore those prices.

Check google and find an average price, then start with about 75% or a bit higher if your scope is in good shape. If you like, ask for shipping to be extra and most times guys will offer to give you the asking price shipping included. I usually include shipping, but that's just me. If I make offers I ask to include shipping.

And one thing; answer every PM, regardless if it's a lowball offer. If I send a PM and get no answer, those folks go on my "ignore" list. I don't want to ever deal with someone who's too busy to answer a PM on an item they're selling.

And post pics, they help immensely, even if they're not studio quality.
