Fake cans/suppressors

My Fake Can/Suppressor (Reverse-Style) with Brake is in the mail as I type.
Heading out to the Range on Thursday so if everything works out I'll be able to provide my findings......

Will the 5/8 one be ok for a 6.5 grendel round? The barrel says it’s 5/8 thread. But they have an end cap and just want to make sure the round will pass through ok...

I've had a couple with the linear comp, both on 5.56 rifles so not much recoil to begin with. But for my ears I am grateful they send the noise down range. I don't notice any muzzle flash with them on, but I am not really looking for it either. Very happy with the product in any event.

Thanks for sharing. Good to know! I'm looking forward to getting one.

Looking forward to it!

I had forgotten about this thread.
The Reverse can with brake is a very nice piece of hardware. The print on the side is a bit much for me but easily taken care of.
It fit perfectly over my Ruger Ranch 16"bbl and added about an 1" in length due to the brake portion. Did it make a difference to my shooting experience....not sure but my buddy (who was in the stall beside me) felt it:).
If you're thinking about getting one don't forget to add a crush washer.

The RCMP lacks the legal authority to ban something. Think of it this way - in general the laws and regulations tell us what we can't do or must do, so unless there is a specific government regulation that prohibits an item or activity, it is entirely legal. The enforcement division of government (the RCMP in this case) does not have the authority under the law to write it's own additional laws. They can't decide a thing is prohibited (their laughably over-arching FRT shenanigans as of late notwithstanding) of their own accord.

there's talk the rcmp has banned fake cans (,)(.) Now is that true?

The talk you've heard might be referring to a notice the RCMP put out a while ago, saying that 'solvent traps' and other suppressor-like items are prohibited devices in their opinion.

Our fake suppressors are fine as they are generally solid lumps of metal that do not have any sound-reducing elements.

Fake Lips, fake Friends, Fake Noses, Fake suppressors. Whats wrong with the real thing, what is wrong with People ?

Cheers

someday we'll have legal suppressors.
