Fake scope

There are rules in place that cover the matter in the EE.
Regardless of any / all rules EE forum users must always exercise their own due diligence.

Knockoffs, scopes / red dots in particular, are everywhere. Sometimes the seller / buyer is completely unaware.
Use this as a reminder to always ask enough of the right questions and if it still seems to good to be true well hey...... you already know the answer.

Be assured that the matter was being looked at from the time it was first reported.

As it was pointed out, while certain items are disallowed from the EE, like fakes or knock-offs advertised as the real thing, a determination needs to be made whether the person posting said items knew or ought to have known that the item was a fake or knock-off.

I would urge members, if you spot what you think is a fake in the EE or any other EE ad that is not in line with the EE rules, use the "post report" button [small black triangle in bottom left corner of ad or post] & make a report. That goes directly to the moderator forum & will be looked by the next available mod.
