Fake suppresor made

what gives you the impression that his faux suppressor will drop the db's per shot??

My gsg's fake supp doesnt do anything to it other then aesthetics.
 
i'm still a bit confused as to why suppressors are illegal in the first place, is there not a thousand legitimate uses for them, starting with nicely reducing sound to protect a shooters own ears? Why should i scare away every deer for miles just because i want to shoot some wild chickens for dinner while out hunt/camping? or bother my neighbours (rural) when shooting badgers/whatever around my place on a smaller acreage?

is it just cuz of sniper movies?

You should have checked the regulations. That lil puppy will earn you a lifetime weapons ban! And even if its not on a gun the supressor itself is illegal. And even if the can is flush with the muzzle if It can be pulled forward and held inplace with duct tape say than it can be a supressor and will get you in s**t! Get rid of the pics and destroy the thing before you are seen by one of the many law enforcement officers on CGN.

Sorry but set screwing a peice of Aluminium round stock to the end of your barrel is completely useless, Unless of corse you need to Mall Ninja out.

i dont like when threads go like this.
In Northern Ireland, and wales, and elsewhere you can simply buy a real suppressor (that works very well, all you hear on a .22 or .17HMR is the click basically.) without even having to prove you have a suppressor permit. There are videos all over youtube.

If people just make fun of the guy for making a fake can for looks.... nobodys ever gonna be able to talk about the real issues around why its "cool" to even have a fake one.

Can someone explain to me why i have to chase away every deer, elk, and moose within a few KM of my position, just because its late afternoon and I need to snipe some wild chickens or something for camping/hunting trip supper with my .22 when i could protect my hearing and the peaceful landscape with a suppressor?
 
I ordered a fake suppressor from Brownells to have to hold up as an illustration of a prohibited device during the CFSC/CRFSC. Brownells deleted it and a $7 AR15 flash suppressor from my order as they were SME (Significant Military Equipment) and couldn't be exported without the appropriate export permits! Ah, those fearful superpowers do the darnedest things...
 
as with all things in the gun world I am sure even a fake suppressor needs to be aproved to be sold in this country(if not sure call the cfo and ask), as for why we cant have real suppressors ,I guess someone figured a quiet gun some how presents a greater risk to the public . Imagine how many lives could have been saved if cars had no mufflers LOL .you could hear them comming for miles.Are we not putting people in harms way at crosswalks everywere by having mufflers(suppressors),I think only drivers with a clean record should be allowed to have mufflers.
