Hi

I want to buy a couple mags for my RFB
Found it on CTC and Northern Republic mags but they are sold out
Does anyone know who has them in Canada? Is there any other mag compatible with it?

BTW, I hated the plastic mag that came with it
Feels cheap and poorly pinned, I can barely insert the 5th round

Thanks

I have DPMS mags that I bought new with the same issue. The 5th round is so tight ( if I can even get it in there) that it will not feed. Load four rounds and its a non-issue so they are definitely pinned incorrectly.

FN FAL mags are really rare in Canada but have you checked the EE? I got six mags there all brand new. Half are from Kel-Tec and half are from DS arms.

The thermold that comes with are absolute garbage, I shot mine to pieces with my KSG lol

Thermolds were flawless for me and were my go to mags, the metal mag it came with from factory was garbage, The DS arms steel ones worked good as well but they scrape the brass up pretty good

Mine are on the way from the US.
It's amazing that dealers are selling RFBs and not bringing in additional magazines. What a lack of planning....

I hear you on that, I bought my RFB from one of the sponsors and there doesn't seem to be a lot of support afterwards. From mags to accessories...

check Irunguns
I bought 10 plastic FAL mags from them (come in 5 packs) that have run great in my AR10 (RRA)

The "Plastic" (polymer) mags are made by Thermold. I can't speak to their reliability in Canadian winter weather, but above zero they functioned fine in my RFB. Indeed, they were my "go to" mags as I found the DSA current-production metric FAL mags to be over-priced, over-sized and under-reliable @ $59 CAD apiece. Given the U.S. DSA price, that makes for one very "expensive" Canadian rivet! At least the Thermolds are only $25 apiece through IRunGuns and work flawlessly when riveted - as opposed to the horribly plastic-pinned KSG versions that ship with the current generation of RFB.

My $.02 as a former RFB fan and owner. YMMV
