FAL Metric Mags

Anyone know where to find FAL Metric Mags? Does anyone know which work in an RFB better, Thermold or metal? Thanks for any advice.

Thermold make some of the worst magazines of any manufacturer.

As per above. I will say that the Thermold do usually work, but they are no where near as dependable as the metal FAL mags. But, at this point in time you takes what you can gets! I don't remember the last time I saw metal FAL mags in stock anywhere, and the last time I saw them they were pretty pricey as well.

Thermold AR, Mini-14 and FAL mags are the worst I have ever used compared to counterparts from every manufacturer I have tried. I considered them pretty much disposable. For the price I paid at the time they almost were. I believe the Mini mags were only $10 each. I think Dlask was selling them about a decade ago.

I have 3 Thermold mags for my RFB - even after confirming that they are securely seated before firing, they drop out after a round is fired. I haven't been able to get my hands on a metal FAL mag, but I'd sure as love to try one.

The auctions have metric FAL magazines, quite frequently.
