Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience with these scopes? I read through some on-line reviews but there was no information on calibre rating (only .22 and .223 mentioned). Will it withstand 308 recoil? Also, what is the warranty etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Ps for those of you who are about to tell me I should just save my money and get a higher end scope, I already have Leupold and Sightron scopes that I'm very happy with :) Thanks!

Use the search option and check out other threads on this forum for this scope, there are fans and non-fans here of this brand.

I have several scopes by this manufacturer, but not the one you mentioned, try a general search, I am sure there will be someone who has published a review.

Candocad.

I had a Falcon menace 10x that I shot easily 10-12k
rnds out of a remm 700. No probs over years of hard sevice. And apparently, the new line of Falcon's blow the menace line out of the water.

I had one not too long ago th m18+ That you’re describing. They’ve come a long way since the one Bile is describing. The new model had clear glass, comparable to a regular vortex viper I have. Clicks were decent, seemed pretty solid. Overall good scope.

I’d say every issue bile mentioned in his generation of m18 has been rectified

I have one that fogged a little, I don't know why.
Still it is usable. the clics are very good. I mounted it on an M305. 100 fired.
So it is little experience but the fogging is anoying, not boring while shooting.
Next time I will go with a SIGHTRON or BUSHNELL ELITE.

Just to clarify as we've talked about a few different Falcons here... Your M18+ is fogging?

Yes a myriad of tiny spots. you don't see them when you look straight trough the scope.
But when you try to have an angle vue you see them. So it is mold or tiny spots of condensate water.
I cannot describe it better.
It happened after the first trip outside!

I have the Primary Arms 4-14x44mm, FFP, ACSS HUD DMR reticle. Have a feeling these are made in the same factory, either that or one copied the other. Apart from the controls, the scope bodies look identical.

The reason I got it was because I had a buddy who had one on his XCR and he was able to reach out to 550m with little effort. He shoots for a living so I figured he knows what he's buying.

Anyway, I got my own and it has a decent finish, heavier than I expected, nice bright glass, decent eye relief, and fine reticle. Not sure if the ACSS HUD DMR reticle is available with the Falcon, but that bullet drop indicator is what I wanted.

The turrets on the PA are junk. They're mushy and they can't track for $hit, but I didn't pay much money for the scope, so it's hard to complain. Besides, first focal plane with the bullet drop built into the reticle got me close enough. I was able to get first shot on steel at 480m using the reticle alone.

Ps for those of you who are about to tell me I should just save my money and get a higher end scope, I already have Leupold and Sightron scopes that I'm very happy with :) Thanks!

I have mostly German and Japanese glass and like you, I told myself that there were a few rifles in my collection that were not worthy of spending a bit more on glass. I was half right. The PA can get the job done as long as I don't need to rely on adjusting elevation or wind, but I can get away with just using the reticle. Would I buy it again if given the choice? Probably not, lol! I wish I saved my money to buy something else in FFP, maybe a Bushnell or Vortex for the ACR. My buddy got rid of his not long after I bought mine. I might do the same eventually.

Oh, also, besides the junk controls, it's also ugly AF.
