This scope really intrigues me as it seems perfect for what I want in a coyote rig. I was focusing on a Leupold lower power variable or fixed 6 but this scope seems like alot of bang for your buck. Who has one and are they durable? Would you buy one again? Google doesn't turn up much about people who have actually owned/owns one of them.

I'm running one on my rimfire. So far so good. The eye box is small and the fov is fairly narrow. The reticle is fine and clear. Illumiation works as advertised and the clicks are stiff but quite positive. For 300 bucks its alright.

I have two. They are solid, reliable scopes. A little on the heavy side but great scopes. One is on a 7.62 x 39 AR and the other on a 5.56 AR. I think they are excellent value for the money. I really like the lighted reticle. Never seem to lose zero. I would highly recommend them.

I've seen three Falcon scopes die in the last year or so and have heard of a few others. One of them was my own 1.5-5x30IR, the other one belonged to one of the other mods and a 4-14x44 died on the line at a match at Milcun this summer. The two 1.5-5x30's were on ARs and the 4-14x44 was on a 308 boltgun. My 4-14x44 has served me quite well and has not given me any issues. However, I would be very hesitant to buy another Falcon from what I've seen of them so far.

Here is a thread about that scope:

Aren't they lifetime warranty? Did you make a claim or send it back?

Nope! Falcon only offers a 5 year warranty in Canada and its only valid for the original owner. I did send it in and the supplier was great about it. However, there was no direct replacement for it because none have come into the country in something like over a year. I was given store credit for the value of it...

I'm shopping for something to replace it, but have not found anything that I like in the price range.

OK, somehow I thought they were lifetime, here's what their web site lists....no mention of 5 years
Warranty

Your new Rifle Scope has a Limited Lifetime Warranty that covers defects in materials and or workmanship. This is
legally restricted to 10 years under European law.

The warranty does not cover instances of abuse, user error, improper use or should the scope be dismantled or taken
apart by anyone other than Falcon Optics or its representatives.

The warranty is limited to the original person that purchased the scope and is non transferable.

The original proof of purchase is required in the event of a warranty claim. No guarantee can be given if a dated proof
of purchase can not be provided.

If you are concerned that the Rifle Scope has developed a fault or defect then either contact Falcon Optics directly or
contact the Falcon Optics representative from which the scope was purchased.

In cases where the Rifle Scope does need to be returned then details of where to return to will be given at the time of
contact. Do not send the scope without contacting either Falcon Optics or its representative in advance and obtaining
return authorisation.

The original proof of purchase must be sent with the scope being returned, along with full name, address and contact
details. A letter with as much information on the fault as possible should also be included. The scope should be well
packaged, pre-paid and fully insured against damage or loss.

After returning, the unit will be inspected then repaired or replaced at the option of the guarantor.

For more details on the returns procedure please consult the resources section of the Falcon Optics website -
www.falconoptics.com or contact Falcon Optics directly. The returns procedure will differ if you are outside of the
United Kingdom.

The terms and conditions above set out the minimum that we will provide and are in addition to your statutory rights.

5 years in Canada is what I was told by the importer. Something you should definitely ask about if you're thinking of buying one...

Falcon's warranty sucks...the website says lifetime warranty but what they don't say is that they've only been doing that for the last 18 months or so. Basically if you don't have a receipt, you don't have a warranty. This is a huge deal when you can spend a little more to buy a Vortex or Leupold and get a better scope and hassle free warranty. Resale value is definately affected.
