I realize that, but it can also mean more $$ from my pocket, if there is a problem...
Personally, I get bored of something before 5 years. So more money is coming out of my pocket either way
Honestly though, I don't know why they only offer five years. They do stand firm behind their product. I have never had a problem getting a warranty replacement and obsolete models have always been replaced with my choice of the newest models.
