Falcon Menace vs Millett TRS vs Mueller

I am looking for a scope for a new 22lr I plan on buying. I am going with a Savage bull barrel w/accutrigger. Would like the optics to have mil/mil to be the same as my other scopes, target turrets are a must. The three scopes that I mention in the title are what I am thinking of. Which would you get, why, why not the other..........etc.

Thanks, DinoS

I had a millet on an old 223 of mine, nice glass but it seemed very big for the gun. It tracked well and held zero with no issue in the time I had it. It was a sfp scope which meant the mils were only correct on one setting.

I have seen some falcon glass and it seems just as clear, I like the fact that it is first focal plane so the mils are correct the who magnification spectrum. The reticle may get too big for you depending on how small you want your groups to be and at how close a distance. I can't speak about reliability since I don't own one but I am considering one for a new 223

I have a Burris with a BDC reticle but it's not what I want to mount. I am wanting to use this gun for practice from 20-150 meters and want to develop a come up chart to enable me to go through the motions of twisting dials. I can't always get to a range to shoot the big bore and the 22 will not disturb the tranquility of the area. I can shoot behind the house in the farm field where I have a back stop for the 22 and the neighbors will not be bothered.

Falcon's warranty sucks...the website says lifetime warranty but what they don't say is that they've only been doing that for the last 18 months or so. Basically if you don't have a receipt, you don't have a warranty. This is a huge deal when you can spend a little more to buy a Vortex or Leupold and get a better scope and hassle free warranty.
