Thanks for the super fast shipping and follow up "tech" support Robbie!
Package arrived so fast I couldn't think of what it might be.... surprise! Open it up and take a quick look out the window at the reticle and my reaction is.... where is the center aim point? I can't see it up against anything darker then tree bark!

Bummed I put it down and write Robbie a quick email about return policy etc.... he's a Mom and Pop type setup and as such I can't really fault him for not wanting to deal with returns and after speaking with him a few times, I'm convinced that his strategy is to focus on quality and things that he knows work well.

Robbie called me and we talked about what I was "seeing" and I was ready to chalk it up to "hey this scope just doesn't seem to jive with my eyes" I'm just getting in to the reading glasses phase of my life and in my mid 50's I feel like I've had a pretty good run with out glasses.....

After speaking with Robbie and he having explained how Falcon uses pretty much a standard mil radian derived scale for their hash marks and dot size etc.... he's telling me wow if you can't see this reticle clearly there is not really any modern reticles of this type that would work.... after that chat I pulled out the scope again for a third look through it...... when I have a flash of genius!

Maybe the ocular lens needs to be tweaked....... the reticle was looking fairly clear but as soon as I turned the fast focus ring less then a revolution the reticle popped into life and became easily viewable.... the "pocket" I had been looking for around the center dot was there and all was good in the Universe....

Called Robbie and told him the good news, he was delighted and happy that the "mystery" of my issue had been solved.

I can't wait to get this scope mounted but so far looking through it with a tuned eye adjustment things are looking very nice and the eye box at 10 X while noticeable is very good compared to some of my similar priced 1-8 optics. Not bad at all!

Thanks again Robbie for the follow up service and back story.... :)

Thank you for the very kind words Can-down. I am SO happy it all worked out in the end. These are super nice little scopes. And at this price point, they are very hard to impossible to beat!!

I hope you have a ton of fun using it.

Kind regards

Robbie

Still haven't gotten it mounted, but playing with it some more, I sure hope the parallax adjustment loosens up.... I work with my hands and it's a bit of a bear to adjust, not something that would be fun for weaker or arthritic hands.

The size of the adjustment wheel is just a bit bigger then the illumination dial (which is also on the stiff side) so there is an opportunity to 3d print a larger wheel that could slip over the illumination dial and engage into the notches on the existing parallax adjuster. I kind of wish they had put the rough range numbers on the side of the parallax dial.... the numbers are not perfect but it's nice to dial a rough estimate and then fine tune from there.

I noticed the stud for the power adjustment is loose as well so I will put a bit of loctite on there before I loose it.... I don't see not wanting to use it. It's a nice size, big enough but not too big.

This scope is going to be fun for shorter range precision shooting mainly due to the parallax adjustment.
