FAMAE 540-1 Owners - I need your help!

I recently acquired a FAMAE 540-1 but it has a broken bolt hold open spring. I'm going to attempt to make a new one, but I was hoping that one of you might be so kind as to take some pics of theirs? Ideally it would be nice to have dimensions too, but that isn't absolutely necessary. Mostly looking for a picture with the spring in place / installed in the rifle as I'm not too sure what it's supposed to look like. I've included some pictures of my broken one below, so hopefully that helps. I'll gladly mail a fabricated replacement spring to anyone that is willing to help. Thanks again!

There are a few 54x owners out there who were looking for one - if I hadn't cleared my inbox out I'd DM them myself but I'm sure they will see this. It looks like you did a great job - this is a common failure point, common enough that when I went looking for a replacement after removing mine a few people reached out to see if I had success getting one made up.

I was able to save mine thankfully, but had found no luck making one. Glad someone did!
