Will the RRA 9mm mags work in the FAMAE SAF?

I read somewhere... (actually I'm almost ceratin it was on CGN) that they will work with a little modification with a dremel.

Anyone know for sure?

Can someone post a pic of the spine on a 9mm RRA mag?

Are there any others that will work in the FAMAE?

Any Colt style (which included the Uzi) mags will work. Don't know about the Dremel mod.

The Famae mags are dimensionally bigger so you need to shim a bit maybe just on the back to make a ledge for the mag catch to lock into.

So the uzi mags do need to be modified??? I busted one of my famae mags and one busted famae mag is way to many. If they do need to be modified, diretions, website, anything that would help.

No they don't. I have original Uzi mags and they are WAAAAYYYY too small. They are so small in fact that they won't lock up and drop free the second you take your hands off of them. They would have to be significantly modified to work and thus without proper & accurate dimensions would be unreliable.

Yes, they require a mod, one of the other board members worked on this.
