FAMAE issues (542)

Well we tried that but they said it has to go through CSC? Does anyone actually know how these are warranties? Cuz it seems nuts that a rifle this expensive would have no warranty if it wasn't bought from one of the importers?

Life is easier if you just assume there is no warranty welcome to Canada.....After years I just assume responsibility to fix firearms myself its cheaper and faster then dealing with store or the importers.

Sad but true - I've owned hundreds of guns, over 40 years, including the odd dog, but I've always assumed that if something goes wrong, I'm on my own. The bright spot in that is that you learn a lot about guns - and gun makers.

In this situation, I'd be checking the extractor for burrs, damage or rounded edges, the spring to be sure it's in there and functioning. The firing pin channel to ensure that it is clean and dry (no lube in there), the magazine (because basically ALL magazines suck), looking at the gas piston (proper diameter, no gouges) - as a start.
