Sten mags are single feed at the lips and FAMAE mags are doublefeed. One could most likely machine the bolt down and mod the magwell to accept sten mags. Not many people would want to do that though...
 
So do the uzi mags fit? Who can source parts for these? Wolverine has a fewe scavenged parts guns. No mag availability is making this a real bummer for me right about now........

Uzi mag availability

Gentleman, I do have several Uzi mags (machined to fit AR 9mm) that would work for you as Sigger69 mentioned.
And to answer your question, they would be FAR more reasonably priced than the "grinder" price.
These are used but excellant Israeli 25/5 "star" marked mags and have been modified to fit AR 9mm. The modification would not prevent them being used in Uzi's, or from being further modified to fit the needs for the Famae (based on user ingenuity).

Yes, I played with this on my FAMAE I had a couple months back by JB welding a piece of sheet metal to the back bent to have a slight lip in a vice, worked great. There's a little more play in the mag well as the metal UZI mag takes up less space ever so slightly, but nothing to worry about. To do it nicely simply spot weld the lip on.
