Famae SAF vs Kriss Super V opinions

I have no experience with either yet, but I bought a Kriss super V due to the common magazines. If I have to buy propriatary mags for the Famae SAF for mucho dinerinos.... I would rather have lots of cheap and readily available Glock magazines for the Super V, and shoot it often.

I also believe the Famae uses magazines that are pinned to 5, whereas the Kriss is 10.

I spent time with the Famae a while back, it did nothing for me. I have a Kriss coming; 10 round mags, innovative(ish) design, non restricted, and it's new, hip and trendy so it'll be an easy sell if I don't like it. I already have three interested parties who've asked.

It does look great! Just wondering if it were possible.

It's been confirmed they're making 9 & 40 versions which hopefully will be imported soon.

As a dyed-in-the-wool Swiss Arms junkie, my vote would go for the FAMAE. I simply cannot take to the KRISS. My only hang-up with the FAMAE before was the quality and availability of magazines for it. It looks like there has been some improvements made in the type of polymer used, and Tactical Imports tells us that they will be available in abundance in the new year.

I got the opportunity to play around with one in the past and loved it and only passed on buying because of the lack of support from the manufacturer. At the same time, for those who missed the MP-5 train, the FAMAE is about the closest you're ever going to get to a restricted SMG size 9mm that looks even remotely like the German gun.

I put an order in for the FAMAE. I think it will go nicely with the rest of my Swiss family. :)

the prices honestly, and the fact that i shoot at a range 99% of the time means i can go for a cheaper 9mm AR and have 10 round mags with no difference to me

if i shot not at a range alot, then one of those guns might look more attractive

People tend to shoot only at ranges when they think like that. (No need for Non-restricted.) If you buy a non restricted, you will find other places to shoot it.

nah, for 10 years i never shot at a range, only out in the bush, but 20 min drive to the range vs 45 min drive into the bush? ill take the 20.

of course that would change if my range was super super busy or had stupid rules but it doesnt so im happy
