Hello!
I'm quite new to the black&green family of firearms and I have a nagging question:

Will the actual non-restricted FAMAE SG540-1 be targeted by the same pending confiscation menaces some of our legal semi-autos have been subjected last year?
Or is it classified as a regular, legally acceptable sporting firearm?

Every firearm is a target. Buy what you want. Shoot it and love it.
More guns make it harder to screw us over. How many people got up in arms about all the category changes to .22 rifles before the SA/CZ fiasco? And I'd bet if they ignored the CZ and just prohibited the SA there would have been a lot less push back from our community. And that was under a conservative govt.
 
The end goal is to take every firearm from every civilian. As BioPace said, buy whatever you want while you can. When they try to take it away don't lay down and accept it. We need to band together and fight for our rights every time they do something to try to take our rights whether they're trying to take something we personally own or not. That's exactly why they target one or two firearms at a time and not all of them at once. They're counting on our "I don't own one of those so it doesn't affect me so I don't care" attitude that they've seen in the past. The Swiss Arms/CZ reclassification was the first time we've come together and luckily the decision was reversed, for now.
My hope is that the current economic climate in the country will keep them busy with more important problems and that their actions will be typical lieberal garbage that will remind the country why we voted them out the last time and we'll be rid of them next election. I don't feel that the conservatives are our friends either but at least they're the least anti firearms out of our options. They could have done a lot more for us if they truely were friends to responsible firearms owners.
This is a global government agenda so it's only a matter of time but the more we fight back the longer we can cling to what few rights we have left.
 
Yes, it, like all firearms are under threat.

Probably the only reason it got by as non-restricted in '95-'96 was due to the fact there were none in the country and there were no photographs of it in popular magazines.

Famae sg540-1 , vaut pas le prix. mais si tu as peur des morons, bien achète toi un 12 casseux.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Ca l' air a sentir mauvais a st-tite . :p
