Having the ability to have 10 vs 5 rounds would be a huge plus for most 540 owners I'd wager.

I'll take 5 rounds that are 100% going to feed from a rock-n'-lock Swiss mag over 10 questionable rounds out of a LAR or even worse, cross mags which are for the most part a dog's breakfast.

I mean the rifle was design with the proprietary magazine for a reason. We just gotta see if they are reliable once someone have it in their hand and I think we are the only people getting this variant so there is no review on them. The old SG-540 can be converted to stang mag as well with a conversion block.

I have a Factory Tan Famae SG540 and I was just wondering how much is it worth? It's one of the tan edition comes with rail mount and 10 Magazine. I know there is a new import coming in and the prices of the magazine are super expensive. I got it on trade years ago so I have no idea what it's worth. I never shoot the rifle myself so the condition is 9-9.5/10. Thank you for the help

How does it shoot btw? (No, I'm not interested in buying it).
Not a lot out there on how the 540 groups.

Well the new rifles that are stanag compatible are $3,300. Would you want to pay more or less than retail for a used one?
