1952 Colt Challenger .22 Semi-Auto

Well I just brought home a Pistol that my Grand-Father passed down to my father and now to me. It will probably be passed down to my son or maybe someone else in the family, but for now, I will take care of it. It needs a good cleaning and oil bath but is should still shoot. I kinda like the grips, they are really confortable in my hand, to bad they are chipped. I figure I'd share with others our little family pistol. Thanks.

That chip could be fixed fairly easy.
I may be wrong, but I think the standard
factory grips for those where plastic.

The pistol is nice for sure, but the greatest thing is receiving and passing along a family heirloom. One of my favorite guns is a single shot Cooey .22 that my grandfather gave to my father, who gave it to me. My 7 year-old is eying it up pretty strongly as well ..... I hope it brings you lots of shooting fun.
