Just took possession of my third NEA-15. I've had nothing but great luck with my first two so I decided to get a 3rd; an 18" in FDE....I've competed with the 14.5" for the past 4+ years and it hasn't let me down once but with the 18", I can travel stateside next season for some matches :d

The new forged uppers and lowers are very nice...big cosmetic improvement from their originals. Will have to see how it functions though since for me, function trumps appearance any day of the week.

From top to bottom: 18" NEA-15 in FDE (factory) with 0 rounds fired, 14.5" NEA-15 with 11,000+ rounds fired, 7.5" NEA-15 in burnt bronze (ceracoated by Select Shooting Supplies) with 600 rounds fired.

Nice looking firearms!

Sorry this is a bit of an aside but it sounds like you might know the answer to a question I've had.
I'm a fairly new member at "Front Site" in Nevada and am considering taking some firearms down for training; do you know if I could I take a Colt Canada Diemaco SA 15.7 across the border, or does the barrel Have to be 16" or more?

Thanks,
Tim

My research says your barrel length and flash hider/muzzle brake needs to be a total of 16". And it has to be pinned(welded)

Question for ya, boys.

Why do you have multiple complete guns? In the case of the PDW in the top pic I understand it; you have a different stock on it. But for the rest why don't you just swap uppers...? (Sorry if that's a dumb question...)

Runningfool - why is the Sparc mounted so low on that 7.5"? Is that necessary with the CCS stock? Just curious as I'm kicking around the idea of building a PDW and that stock is one idea I've been mulling over. Follow up, how do you like it?

The sparc is mounted low just because I like it low and keeps the gun compact. I love the stock, especially it's compactness of the; I was going for as short as possible and iirc it comes in at 20.5" oal. The ergos of the stock are not great for me but it's no big deal...it's a chits'n giggles rifle for me anyways. I'm a bit shy of 6'2" so ymmv.

Thanks! By the way, nice collection. Good to hear positive experiences about NEA for once.
