Welcome to the forum!
I had a very good friend/range buddy/hunting buddy just build one. He did a 26” KS pipe, throated longer for the heavies, on a LH KS LAR3 action, sitting in an Iota stock with MDT bottom metal. Dennis at GoBallistic just did the build for him.
Hes got about 225 rounds down the barrel now after fire forming 100 brass. He’s having good luck with H4831SC and H1000. So far he’s found nodes right around 3100 fps with both powders and a 133 Berger. He’s had good luck with H4831SC, with a node right around that 3075-3100fps. He said he could keep going a little more but that 3100 seems to be the sweet spot without getting too hard on brass. He hasn’t dabbled with H1000 a lot yet but from the little bit that he has, we both think he might get a little more speed out of it with H1000. He tried Retumbo but it was a bit too slow of a powder even with a 26” barrel. Case was full, no pressure but velocities weren’t there and there was no more room for go fast dust
He’s running Lapua 30-06 brass necked down. Neither one of us have any experience running VV powder but from what I’ve read online I think N560 would be a great choice for the heavies.
For the 107’s I would maybe look into H4350? He hasn’t shot any other bullet than the 133 Berger. But I run H4350 in my 270 win with 129gr LRX at 3130 fps in a 24” barrel.
The joys of “wildcatting” if you will, it can be hard to find legitimate load data, especially with an older cartridge and newer bullet technology. Then you factor in the Ack Imp. effect. But as always whatever data you do find on it, start low and work your way up. You’ll be very happy with the results.
If you have access to Quickload (or talk nice to someone on the forum here who does) that might be your best bet using standard 25-06 data, and work your way up for the heavies and the 107’s. If you don’t, you could email Berger and ask for load data for the 25-06 with a 133/135 and work up from there.
