Fausti Story 1948-2018
1948: World War II ended recently. Italy is on its knees, it is to rebuild over the ruins, it is to rebuild an identity, working very hard. There are no holiday or weekend long. A few moments of leisure. Thus was born the Fausti, from the hands of a young Stefano Fausti assembles guns, model "external hammer" with the only help of chisel and fine papers.

Even the company expands: from small laboratory is passed to its present location, built on 4.000 square meters. where live, technological wonders, specialized craftmen, techniques and traditions of over one hundred years.
Mr. Fausti is named Knight Officer of the Republic. An important recognition for those who, out of nowhere, has managed to create a luxury brand and therefore to ensure work and employment to its people.
His guns, thanks to participation in the first and most important international exhibitions in the field, become true ambassadors of creativity and art of the Italian gun makers. Some of those models such as the Classic, an external hammer gun, and the Senator, side-lock of high school, are still in the catalogue.
The three daughters, Giovanna, Barbara and Elena, successors in the family for many years, today drive with style and knowledge establishing in 2009 the Fausti Usa and creating models of shotguns of absolute value. Let us recall one for all: DEA, a side by side, indeed, the "side by side" and the gorgeus “Italyco”, an over&under that has soon become a true ambassador of the state of art of Italian gunmaking. New models are going to be launched in 2018, the year of the 70 anniversary: a side by side “round body” with long sideplates named Dea Luxury and the competition over&under XF4 followed by the sibling “Class RDX”, a perfect companion for hunting. The engraving on those receivers makes me want to weep. Such crisp lines! Really, much too good to take into the field. And Mr. Fausti has been blessed with a successful business, a worthy brand, and such good ambassadors for his product line. Booth babes, no. Daughters, yes.
