Faviourte way to double up your mags?

Yes...I know I will get flack from the people who hate doubling up their mags but I like doing it and so do others...SO what way is your perfered method?

Is one better then the other? If so...why?

Never doubled up, but my guess is #1 is better because shifting it a little to the left or right is a lot easier than rotating it 180 degrees, and it should be easier to load too.

You're missing a 3rd option, which is like #2 but with one magazine facing front and one magazine facing back. With #2, you rotate the whole thing 180 degress left or right, with #3, you rotate it 180 degrees in forward or backward direction.
 
#1 using duct tape and a cardboard spacer at the top. The Hillbilly Redi-mag makes for quick mag changes and will still fit in double mag pouches. I only use it for starting stages in 3 gun.

This is a great example or there are these 1's for $5 a set that are straped and nut & bolted together. Not as cheap but defenatly do the job & yes I run my 3 gun match with this set-up.

sorry for making your ears prick up like that- i don't believe the op was SPECIFIC- i've had mine since 1990 or so
