Favorite 243 Varmint round

Hornady 58 gr Vmax Superformance is what I use in my 243 for coyotes. They seem to drop them instantly with no exit wound.

I shot a bunch of Yotes with 70gr Ballistic Tips. Those things kill like the hammer of Thor and they are decent for distance too. I've shot them out to 700 yds in my 6BR.

A big case like 243 isn't the greatest for lightweight bullets. It would be better served with heavier, ballistically slipperier bullets for longer shots. Something like a 20 or 17 cal wold be the thing for close in yotes.
