Favorite .270 load?

Most easy load in reloading, just fill up your resized case with 60.0 gr of H-4831, primed with a WLR and compress with any good 130 gr bullet, powerfull moa load in many rifles... JP.

57.0 gr IMR 4530 under a 90 gr Sierra JHP out of a normal Ruger M77. One-inch square, five shots.

59.5 gr was even better, but I'm not posting it because nobody would believe it (I don't myself - must've been pure fluke).

You got it!
If you bother to weigh the load, it will be about 60 grains.
The classic load for a 270.

I've used this load in three different .270's and it's always produced good results, 48.5 grs of IMR 4064 with a 130 gr bullet. Low recoil, lots of power out to 300, sighted 1.5" high at 100yds it hits about 6" low at 300. Used it with Nosler Ballistic tips and it gave sub MOA groups out of my Ruger 77RL, and dropped a nice Mule Deer at about 175 yds with one shot. I know I've used this same load on at least one White Tail, but don't remember the bullet, probably a Nosler Partition.
