I have to do a good test with some different ammo one of these days.
the stuff I am shooting now grouped about the size of a sandwich plate at 23yds standing. Very surprising as I usually have more flyers.
I think the roughest stuff I have shot was the AMerican eagle stuff.

Bottom line at least for me here is that is probably just a preference of White Box over Winclean. The one thing I am sure on is that 124 gives me better results over 115 or 147.
Cast my own (Lyman 355402 bullet) over 4 gr Unique (Win/Rem Brass), (Win, Rem,Fed) primers. PF 130 Standard Deviation 5 in my Tanfoglio "L". Soft shooting, accurate and economical. Make my own lube too! All part of the experience.

A guy working at the gunshop will try to sell you factory ammo every time.... After I asked around a bit I found that everyone told me to reload.. and yes they were right.
Much cheaper.

For me to reload 1000 138s on Wolf's brass, using titegroup and winchester small rifle primers costs $131.05.
So, I save roughly $70 per thousand. A thousand rounds takes, call it 3 hours to load on the 550 (be honest with yourselves guys... include cleaning brass, filling primer tubes, etc.)
I make $35/hour at work.
So no, reloading doesn't make sense.
What does make sense is Lebaron never seems to have 9mm, Sports Action charges precisely twice as much, Higginson's Powders is a 40 minute drive away, and I see Wolf left right and center at matches.
I can always get components to reload.

9MM ammo up here costs about $12. a box of 50. I can reload for about $2.00 a box using my own cast bullets saving about $10. per box of 50.
If you work those numbers out and you should quit your $35. per hour job, move here, make 9MM cartridges and become a millonaire.

It's all about what time is worth to you. I feel reloading is a pain in the ass, and I should be paid for it.

I received my new 550 press a few weeks ago, but haven't got the primers/powder yet, nor have had a chance to set up my bench. When I do I will save money (it is nice to not work sometimes) and load for my gun and sport
I had a hard time at one point getting any ammo, as everyone was waiting for there supplies to come in. I found out Canadian BDX or Combat masters was manufacturing ammunition. If you buy in bulk and even with the shipping, it went to approx. $180 per 1000 taxes and shipping included (shipped from Alberta to NB). So I use to shoot factory which was approx the same price in bulk, but + 15-17% GST in the atlantic provinces.
