Favorite gun writer

From the past : Jack O'Connor & Elmer Keith ... and although not purely "gun writers" Gordon McQuarrie, Larry Kohler, Gene Hill, Archibald Rutledge, Burton Spiller and a few others.

Today's "writer's" aren't much ... but I do try and avoid Boddington & Simpson.

Also from the past, P.O. Ackley's "Handbook for Shooters and Reloaders". Just don't use any of his reloading info without throughly checking it out! Different powders for a start!

Garry James, Sam Fadala......Chuck Adams(his early work b4 bow), Phil Spangenberger and the late Robert T. Shimek.

What? Nobody mentioned Chuck Hawks???
