Favorite lube for cast bullets?

My latest version is
1lb beeswax(raw)
1lb alox 350
4 of the wrappers from babell cheese (carnuba wax) about 4 tablespoons. The carnuba makes it real slick.

I use this in both black powder and smokeless.

If there will be enough interest I may be able to offer alox 350 for sale.
Alox 350 is currently used in the production of the 50/50 NRA formula and yellow dragon.

I moly coat cast 500 gr bullets before I size them, I also moly coat the bore. Then I use lee alox. I get good results

I use Lyman 50/50 NRA formula.
If you can wipe lube at the end of the barrel the lube is doing it's work.
Works great in micro groove Marlins up to 1800 fps for me.
Haven't tried it in faster bullets. The hard wax lubes are terrible and are used for packaging and nothing else in my humble opinion.

Wow, is this post still going?
A long time ago I posted that if you summed up all the answers here, you would note that oodles of different lubes have been successfully used.
In other words, it seems that anything you can think of will work OK. That was my conclusion many years ago. If I kept everything the same, except the lube, nothing seemed to change.

I thought we weren't supposed to talk about religion on CGN?!!:p

Nothing will draw more opinions than a thread about bullet lube. Many, many things work very well and none are best, but people have their personal preferences.

I like a variation on what's below which is a variation of the "45/45/10" for Tumble Lubing. I use 40% Lee Liquid Alox, 30% Paste Wax, 20% Beeswax and 10% Mineral Spirits (40/30/20/10). I added the Beeswax to make it a bit harder, but it means you have to heat it in the microwave for about 90 seconds before you can use it. You need to first heat up the Paste Wax and "cook off" most of the solvents in it, then add the beeswax, and once melted, the other ingredients.

I'm using 60% Lee liquid alox, 30% johnson's paste wax and 10% mineral spirits to propel my .223 cast loads; don't have a chrony, but loads are supposed to be around 2300 fps, and I am not experiencing any leading.
very accurate too.
