I use SPYPOINT and it has been very reliable and easy on batterys

I have used an external battery with a solar panel and it only really worked well when the camera was in an open area receiving direct sunlight on the panel. If the camera was always in the shade the solar panel did not provide enough current to the battery to keep it charged.

I picked up a Browning trail cam last summer and I was really impressed with both picture quality and battery life. I've ran several other cams in the past, but I think I'll be sticking with Browning for the time being.

He probably was and thats why he had to stop, he did have a weird grin on his face....
