I liked a couple of the shows that actually educated hunters about what todo and what not. No fuss- no "tip of the week" - like please use oil and not WD40 on your rifle..... Plain calling techniques, do-dos and no-nos. They earned a good reputation in my book.
I don't like shockey so much because when he took anything else but members of the deer family (or dik -dik) he had a back-up PH with a double in what seemed to be a 500 NE or larger.
We're blessed down here - I have three sports channels - 45-50% hunting on each, so I've watched a few.
Watson seems OK (buschnell outdoors) as do many africans.
I'm biased towards the shows that inform us about the equipment they use, calibers - even clothes.
I'd like to see a hunting episode filmed by the "survivorman" guy.
